ImageWelcome to Tuell.Net

This is primarily a genealogy project — an arboretum of our family trees, we like to say — but it likely will branch out into other directions. If you are here looking for genealogy information on one of our family surnames, don't hesitate to send us an e-mail or leave a comment, question or suggestion. We are accumulating quite a few family photos, and we'd be happy to send you higher-resolution photos of any relatives we share. We hope to post some GED files in the future, but that's a project for another weekend.

Learn what's new on this site at our genealogy blog page, or browse through the branches with the menu at the top of this page.

Check out our ancestors' photos, organized by family branch, in the sidebar at right. You'll also find photos of places of origin ranging from Italy to Oklahoma Indian Territory, postcards from places of origin and photos of family cemeteries. (A word of warning, though. The photo galleries break no speed records.) Click the top slideshow icon on a gallery page to view the photos with Cooliris.

By the way, the photo in the header shows Nelle Frost, one of five Frost sisters, on horseback in Sierra Blanco, Texas around 1910. A dozen years prior, in 1898, her mother Virginia Frost loaded family belongings and the five Frost girls into a covered wagon and drove it (likely with a wagon train) from Missouri to Erin Springs, Indian Territory, where her husband had set up a homestead.

We welcome your comments or suggestions.
