We would like to take a moment to thank all our friends and family, and all of our newly discovered distant “cousins” for your willingness to share your stories, information and photos with us.  In particular, thanks to Paul Newell for the great Burnham Cemetery photos, Richard and Phyllis Swingle for great photos and information, Joye Walls for incredible Bowen information, Lois Campbell, John Beach and so many, many others.  The best part of this genealogy journey is discovering this enormous family that we are a tiny part of!  A great deal of Kathy’s family information has come from the Tri-County History and Genealogy site run by Joyce Tice.  What a wonderful collection of regional information Joyce and her friends and neighbors have put together.  Thanks to everyone who takes the time to take a photo, walk a cemetery, transcribe documents and all the other work that is going into the information that is being placed online.  We hope that by putting our information online we can create good karma by helping you!

We are not professional genealogists.  We’ve tried, as best we can, to appropriately source our information.  Truth is, the longer we work on this stuff the better we get at it, and it is discouraging to read through reports and wonder “where did that come from?”  Please let us know if we’ve somehow picked up YOUR information along the way and not appropriately acknowledged you.  We’ve also tried to collect the data that is available in its original format — so, dates, spellings and locations may differ from document to document.
